ink jet prints, traditional prints, and occasionally other items. See below for a description of the various products.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS:
Magnetic Picture Scramble™ sets are 5 pictures, 1.75"
x 1.75" in size. They are scenes selected from each shoot to represent the season and the location. The photographs are scanned and cropped digitally, then reproduced with an inkjet printer. They are laminated,
cut, and placed on magnets by hand. Due to the small size of the pictures, significant adjustments may have been made to the
brightness and/or objects’ contrast to make the scenes easier to see. Collect all the series or just a few. Link your
city to those of your children or grandchildren. Play with various landscape combinations or use them to demonstrate how the
same scenes can be grouped based on different criteria, e.g., water, plants, buildings, activity.
Photo Note Cards: For each season, one photograph is selected
to represent the conditions of that day. These pictures are gathered into Seasonal Representations note card sets.
In addition to the Seasonal Representations sets, the photographic shoots of some seasons may result
in an abundance of pictures that deserve to be shared. These note card sets usually result by chance during the shooting day,
not from a planned attempt at the start of each shoot.
The cards are printed by inkjet directly onto card stock. The preference is for recycled paper,
but that is not always possible given supplier decisions. The standard size is 5.5" x 4" folded. A larger 6" x 5" folded card
also is available for additional cost. While these cards are sold in sets, orders are
printed as needed to reduce inventory costs and excessive waste going into the environment. This means that you, as the customer,
may request custom-selected sets if you find one particular photo more interesting than the others, or for whatever reason.
MRF Communications also offers you the option to have your own poetry or prose printed on the
inside of the card, or to have us create custom text or use one of our already-prepared haikus or other poetry.
Magnet Squares: These are pictures from the seasonal shoots
packaged as single magnets, 2.75" square. These individual magnets are not selected as part of each photo shoot. Some magnets
are created as composites, using scenes gathered from each of the four seasons. They are printed on matte paper, placed on magnets, cut, and wrapped with a matte-finish protective sheet.
Magnet Squares may be custom packaged, including special wording
printed on the front or added on a label to the back, to promote your business, organization, or issue campaign.
For example, purchase Magnet Squares as promotional items for bus ridership. The images used would show locations reachable
by public transit and the back label could indicate the bus route(s) that service the locale. Or a real-estate or service-oriented
company could make use of the Magnet Squares to promote neighborhoods in which they operate.
Ink Jet Prints: Ink Jet Prints are printed on 5" x 7" high quality glossy photo paper with a fine-jet printhead. The standard
design includes the location and date of the photo printed on the paper, reminiscent of a poster from a museum's special
exhibit. Special requests for prints without the information printed can be made. These prints are sold as the print
alone, unless otherwise requested.
Traditional Prints: Prints may not be the color they appear
on the monitor, due to differences in monitors and scanner. The colors of the prints are close to the original scene. Matted
prints are corner-mounted on acid-free foam. The mats are either acid fee or have an acid-free coating.
The items below have magnets attached to wood frames. Designed to be inexpensively elegant, they consist of a photograph fastened
to a balsa back and framed with painted balsa. A ribbon around the edge finishes the product. Size: approx. 3" x 2.75".
