WRITING COURSES FOR SCRAPBOOKERS   MRF Communications, LLC offers three courses to help non-writers add memory-enhancing journaling to their picture scrapbooks.   Select from: * Journaling for Portraits * Journaling for Events * Book Design for thematic journaling * Journaling for Success   What do you get? Each course lasts two hours. You get a short presentation, hands-on experience with the instructor guiding you, and a pamphlet summarizing the techniques to take home with you.   What does it cost? Costs are $25 per person per course, or combine all three courses into a single four-hour course for $60 per person.  Due to the personal assistance provided in each session, the number of participants may be limited. One-on-one assistance in a limited geographical area is available at the rate of $20-$25 per hour.   Will you come to a party? MRF Communications, LLC offers stickers and designs to enhance scrapbooks and handmade cards. Some are pre-made, others can be requested on a custom basis.   What should I bring to a course? The purpose of these courses is not to walk away with a finished scrapbook page. Instead, these scrapbook courses are to help add meaningful writing to a scrapbook page or book. The basics learned will be transferable to other pages and books. You will be asked to bring particular types of pictures or photocopies of them to a course. You are also welcome to bring scrapbook materials, as you wish, but much of the initial work will be done with scrap paper. Once you know what you want to say and how you want to say it, you can transfer the design to your acid-free pages.
